Liminal Space
Born amidst chaos and creation, dying like an unattainable dream, only to be reborn again and again in an inevitable metamorphosis. This is Liminal Space. It is not what was, nor what will be; it is time suspended in transformation. It is the space where nothing is set, and anything can begin – or end.

Lyrics
Conspire and conquer while you’re high on senseless hateEcstasy and anger, machine guns to decide our dreaded fate Infected seas of amber, an arsenal of disease to bring you to your knees Can’t get rid of this cancer, we can only pray for death to come and be released
Don’t try to neutralize their mindSeek revenge and watch the threads unwind
Bury your thoughts before they take them all awayLife is a game only a few can playBodies lost and found, failed strategies to be paid in blood Heaven or hell bound, chaos unleashing as their inner rage unfolds
Don’t try to neutralize their mindseek revenge and watch the threads unwindIf we were never really aliveIt won’t matter that they sent us out to die
Authorities in power uprisingTheir restless souls are ravishingus all, and sating their thirst for control, we are all cursed
This sickness won’t seem to fadeThis sickness won’t seem to fade

Of Dicks And Whores
“Will her body ever be hers?”
4:30 · Keep scrolling
About the song
“Of Dicks and Whores” dives into the corrosive undercurrents of societal judgment and objectification, positioning itself as one of the heaviest and most confrontational moments on Liminal Space. Built on grinding riffs and sludge-soaked tension, the track embodies the suffocating weight of being reduced, silenced, and commodified.
Its lyrics drag into focus the hollow caricatures imposed on women—quiet, dumb, disposable—while exposing the violence of ownership and control. Yet beneath its doom-laden surface, there’s a defiance that seethes through the distortion: an unmasking of power structures and the scars they leave behind. The song doesn’t simply narrate, it forces the listener to confront the ugliness of the systems that demand submission, echoing the album’s broader meditation on fragmentation, resistance, and the reclamation of self.

Lyrics
Quiet and dumb, that’s how they like usWon’t pick a fightNaked and frail, that’s how they want usMeaningless beauty
Oh, you think you’re gonna get with me?No, you’re never gonna get with me!
Her body for their gaze, her skin for their taste, Will her body ever be hers? She’ll pay with her blood, they say she shouldn’tHave been such a whore, a whore, a whore
Oh, you think you’re gonna get with me?No, you’re never gonna get it!
“He said he’ll make me his house wifeAnd i’ll give birth to his baby boyFill his baby mouth with milkFill his head with bullshit thoughts”
Does it make you feel like a big, big man?Well, I feel that you’re a big piece of shit
You’re never gonna get with me
It’s just another story of dicks and whores

Lyrics
All alone, I’ve been stuck in the middleOverthrown from my own bodyI don’t know how to solve this riddleAll alone, unarmed in this war
Careful with your answersClassify your thoughts Embellish your feelingsForget what you stand for
I’ve been caught in a state of deliriumAll alone, trying to make me wholeJust one thought might pull the triggerAll gone, from my mind dethroned
Careful with your answersClassify your thoughts Embellish your feelingsForget what you stand for
Burn it down, take the crown
Careful with your answersClassify your thoughts Embellish your feelingsForget what you stand for
What you stand forWhat you stand for
“Dethroned” encapsulates the emotional and conceptual heart of Liminal Space, REGINA’s debut album, serving as a powerful introduction to the album’s themes of fragmentation, inner conflict, and identity erosion. The lyrics trace a journey through isolation, psychological tension, and self-erasure. It explores the disorientation of losing one’s sense of self in the face of internal and external pressures.
The recurring imperative—“Careful with your answers / Classify your thoughts”—mirrors the societal expectations to filter and repress, while the explosive “Burn it down, take the crown” signals a breaking point, a reclaiming of agency. As the lead single, “Dethroned” embodies the liminal tension between collapse and transformation that defines the album as a whole.

Lyrics
God speaks to those who wear a crownOnly the purebreed will rise above the groundA dirty mirror reflects illusions through the image of GodForfeit your soul so you can take the key
Take your time, don’t underestimate They’ll kill you for a cigaretteCatch yourself ‘cause when they take controlThey’ll do anything to stay that way
Billions of dollars run the industriesOur lives are in their white handsThey feed us antibioticsOur lives are money, and we’d die for their brands
Worship them as they become our GodAnd they will possess everything we own Quiet still, ‘cause when they track you downYou will succumb to their hollow crown
“Hollow Crown” delves into themes of power, control, and manipulation by figures in authority. Built on intricate, tense verses that break into a cathartic chorus, the track metaphorically exposes a society willing to trade its identity and values for material gain, warning against the blind worship of systems designed to dominate.

Whiteout
“Only blind when the truth is too ugly to look at”
4:11 · Keep scrolling
With a dramatic atmosphere and an immersive energy, “Whiteout” marks new sonic territory for the band, blending industrial and gothic influences with the syncopated rhythmic pulse of candombe. This fusion of Uruguay’s cultural roots with international alternative rock elements results in a raw and unique track within the band’s repertoire. By incorporating this distinctive sound into their heavy, atmospheric style, Regina bridges cultural heritage with modern alternative rock, crafting a song that is both deeply rooted and boundary-pushing.
Lyrically, “Whiteout” delves into the feeling of being trapped in a self-imposed mental fog—a state where the truth becomes too painful to face. The song explores themes of self-sabotage and the internal struggle between clinging to what’s familiar or confronting what might be an uncomfortable reality.
Lyrics
I get in my headIs it something I crave?I get in my waySabotage a good thing
Whiteout! Whiteout!Only blind when the truth is too ugly to look at
All of this pressureIs it something I create?I’d rather lose it all thanHold on to this weight

Sweet Embrace
“My mind drifts into a different space”
5:24 · Keep scrolling
Lyrics
There are no seeds leftTo grow this garden againThe soil is too wetToo much water to drain
Broken hearts and broken plansSinking in motionless blueA growing turmoil in my headI’ll murder you to see you were already dead
You lean into the sweet embraceOf the rope around your neckWhy should I hold onto this dead weight?
My mind drifts into a different spaceSo far away from these waves that you chaseThey fade into dreams and these dreams, they fadeI’ll bury my heart so you can’t find it again
You lean into the sweet embraceOf the rope around your neckWhy should I hold onto this dead weight?
You said i’m the one who fuels your hateAnd for so long i took all the bullets to my headBut i’m not letting any man dictateWhat beliefs i should preach and what i should create-I gave you life you took away-
You lean into the sweet embraceOf the rope around your neckWhy should I hold onto this dead…?Why keep holding on? You should let go.
“Sweet Embrace” marks one of the most vulnerable and emotionally heavy moments on Liminal Space. Centered on navigating grief, the track builds upon dark, dense atmospheres that steadily escalate, turning raw sorrow into a swelling, cathartic crescendo.

Open Cage
“I’m laying in an open cage instead”
5:08 · Keep scrolling

“Open Cage” is one of the most vulnerable and intimate moments on Liminal Space. Built on a slow piano line wrapped in subtle synthetic textures, the song feels fragile and suspended, mirroring its lyrics of self-confrontation, fear, and the tension between restraint and liberation.
The imagery of an “open cage” captures the paradox of being unbound yet unable to escape, reflecting inner battles with doubt, time, and scars that refuse to heal. As the track unfolds, the band gradually emerges, transforming the piece into a cathartic release where despair collides with defiance—culminating in a powerful reminder that even in fragility there is strength.
Lyrics
I see someone else staring backSoft light, eyes lost, ungroundedI believe I’m not really chainedI’m laying in an open cage instead — afraid
To fly away, to feel any kind of painI must restrain my thoughts and viewsThey become thick walls, cold and blindingI am left, forgotten behind
I will stand when the tides run highAnd when I fall I’ll tear it all apart
Time is nothing but a fearYet it takes over everythingThe words I was being held back byAre suddenly looking so insignificant
I will stand when the tides run highI will walk through the shattered glassI will stay when my strings untieAnd when I fall I’ll tear it all apart
Win a battle but lose the warRelentless dreaming from afarWin a battle but lose the warHow much longer are you gonna cover up your scars?

Rot
“If something won’t grow, it will rot”
4:41 · Keep scrolling
“Rot” is a disconsolate, somewhat convoluted and intertwined protest against heartbreak and the grieving process. Driven by the raw sound of distorted guitars and gritty bass riffs, “Rot” rumbles quietly at times, only to hit harder and harder, over and over, until it dies, revives, and dies again.
The sound of “Rot” carries a certain grunge reminiscence, but it escapes to other directions, making it the perfect song to transition the band’s sound from their first EP, “Apology” (2019), to their debut album. Without abandoning the band’s roots, the album ventures into darker, denser, atmospheric, and heavier territories, marking a strong contrast and a greater inclination towards alternative metal.

Lyrics
Of all the things we could’ve beenWe died somewhere in between A flower cut too soonTorn before it could even bloom
And I’ve never felt more aliveNow that it all has died
Nothing left of who I wasI can only redefine
If something won’t growIt will rot
Your love rots like it was never mine
I try to kill timeTo empty my mind
If something won’t growIt will rot
This life won’t get meAnywhere but dead
I look for answers in the dark Change shapes to fit the marks Gave my all, it wasn’t enough
If something won’t growIt will rot
So this thing didn’t growSe pudrió
